Rotary isolators are primarily used for isolating electrical circuits. When in the "off" position, these switches disconnect the circuit from the power source, providing a visible break in the electrical continuity. They are manually operated switches, meaning that the user physically turns a rotary handle to switch the device between the "on" and "off" positions. This manual operation provides a clear visual indication of the circuit's status. Some of our rotary isolators come with lockable handles.
Rotary isolators can have multiple poles, various current and voltage ratings and different Ingress Protection (IP) ratings.
