With its ceramic soleplate the Russell Hobbs Steamglide Pro Iron glides over the most heavily creased cloth, the 40g/min of continuous steam and 90g/min shot of steam is enough to smooth even thick denim. It's not all about power - the steam output is variable for more delicate materials, or you can opt to spray instead. The tank is easy to fill and holds 350ml, and there's a vertical steam function, which is useful for curtains or clothes on hangers. There's an anti-drip function, and anti-calcium function plus the iron self-cleans, while other nice touches include a soft-touch handle and dial.
