The TIS 860 is a 3 in 1 meter which can be used to detect stud (wood), metal and ac voltage. When detecting wood the unit will indicate the edge ofthe wood, moving it across the wall to indicate the opposite edge. There are three selection modes; metal, stud and AC voltage. Simply select one and follow the instructions. Simple and easy to use.
