It might be a retro radio by design, but that doesn't stop the Monty from boasting Bluetooth connectivity. Simply pair with your smartphone or tablet and stream your stored music or music from the many streaming music services available. Either way, Bluetooth streaming gives you access to a near unlimited supply of music.

Both DAB and FM radio
With a choice of DAB, DAB+ and FM, the Monty Oak is well equipped for tuning into a wide range of radio stations both here and abroad. DAB (Digital Audio Broadcasting) gives access to the widest range of stations in the UK, in crisp and clear digital sound quality. DAB+ is available across much of Europe and offers even higher levels of sound quality. In case your favourite stations aren't available in DAB, then this portable radio is also equipped with an FM tuner.

AUX in and USB charge
Connect up another source, such as an MP3 player or iPod by using the AUX 3.5mm input. Also featuring a USB charging socket, the radio charges your smartphone. Stream some music before you go to sleep, plug in overnight and wake up to a phone that's charged and ready to go - no other charger required!

Quality casing
Finished in an oak veneered, real wood case with a fabric grille, the Monty looks great. This not only gives it a better quality feel, but also improves the sound quality, as wood cabinets are generally less prone to distortion than plastic ones. A punchy 10 watt amplifier and speaker help provide a sound that's surprisingly powerful for such a compact radio.
